Manchester United v Arsenal (FA Cup)
No Premier League action this weekend so once again I'm turning to the FA Cup for some inspiration - and I think I've found it in backing Manchester United to see off bewildered Arsenal on Saturday.
United may have lost three league games in the last month but all those defeats came away from home. At Old Trafford they've been excellent this season and remain unbeaten in 20 games (all competitions), including a victory over the Gunners in the league at the end of 2010. Arsenal haven't won any game away from home since they beat Leeds in this competition almost two months ago, and since then they've lost to Ipswich, failed to beat Leyton Orient, and conceded four goals at Newcastle. And of course, they lost in midweek at Barcelona and I suspect some of their players are still feeling dizzy from being turned inside out! United last played Arsenal in the FA Cup in 2008 and they won 4-0; the scoreline might be different this time, but don't expect the outcome to be any different.

Watford v Sheff Utd
There was audible sigh of relief across Yorkshire on Tuesday night as Sheffield United finally broke their duck under Micky Adams. The 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest ended a 14-game winless streak which has landed the Blades deep in the heart of trouble town. Even with that much-needed win in their locker, they are still six points adrift of safety with only 10 games to go, and while they may have won in midweek their away form is still pretty woeful. United have lost eight of their last nine on the road (the other was a draw) and during that time they have conceded 20 goals. That will be music to the ears of Watford's Danny Graham, the Championship's top scorer. His goals have tended to come in clusters - and Watford's results have mirrored Graham's fortunes. Either side of Christmas, Graham scored in six consecutive league games and the Hornets won the lot. He then scored one in eight - and Watford didn't win any of them. He's currently on a run of goals in each of his last three, none of which the Hornets have lost.

Peterborough v Carlisle
The recent good form of Carlisle United, in particular away from home, might just have given a bit more meat on the Peterborough price of [1.80] this Saturday, and we must remember Darren Ferguson's outfit are still the most attractive to watch in the division. The Posh are unbeaten in six games, and scrapped a 1-0 away win at Notts County on Tuesday night - their fourth clean sheet in that run. Fergie Jnr will be delighted with the way his side are defending, especially Gab Zakuani who is without doubt the best aerial centre-back around.
Peterborough have quality to win games with a moment of magic, and are now showing the ability to win a dour match as well as a blitz job - which lends to those 51 goals scored at London Road this term.
Carlisle are a decent outfit, and score on their travels. Midfielder Harry Arter has joined on loan from Bournemouth, and the Cumbrians will have eyes on a play-off spot themselves. But meeting the form team of the moment might just dent those play-off hopes temporarily.

Cheltenham v Aldershot
On Tuesday the Shots nudged out a narrow win over Torquay, a side who have often inflicted Tuesday night misery at the Rec in recent years. A stiff resolve embodies Dean Holdsworth's side, who are not often defeated now but who have a penchant for draws. Another match could finish level here, particularly as the Robins have a fair smattering of draws of late and need a few points to steady a less than impressive six-game return of five points. Adam Mekki, who bossed the second half as a substitute, will be pressing for a start for the visitors, who should take a draw.
