Can Christmas Coming be an all-weather winner?

Can Christmas Coming be an all-weather winner?

"Unlimited drops down from handicap company to weak seller level and carries a relatively low weight 9st 10lb."

Today's Follow The Money movers come from Lingfield and Wolverhampton.

We start with the 2m 3f Novice Hurdle at Lingfield (14:35) where Not Til Monday has drifted out to [3.0] from [2.26]. The 5yo gelding won impressively at Plumpton last time out by 10 lengths over 2m on heavy ground. Though that was good form, he now is upped in trip to 2m 3f and carries top weight 11st 11lb on soft ground. Punters may think that these factors make his task rather difficult in his quest for a follow up victory.

Our second bet comes at Wolverhampton where Unlimited has been backed in to [5.5] from [8.5] to win the 15:30 7f Selling Stakes.
The 9yo gelding drops down from handicap company to weak seller level and carries a relatively low weight 9st 10lb. His main competitor according to the market is Orpenindeed who looks to be a short priced odds-on favourite looking to follow up his recent wins. Jockey Luke Morris is an accomplished all-weather pilot so that booking is a positive and he has won over course and distance. The step up to 7f from 6f may also be viewed as preferable.

Finally, Christmas Coming has been very well supported (in to [5.30] from [8.0]) to win the 17:05 Maiden Stakes over 1m 4f at Wolverhampton. He has plenty of race experience, often useful in maidens but only finished fourth last time out at Lingfield, starting [3.3] fav. He has run over 12f twice before so should see out the trip, and looks the main danger to the favourite Shamardal Phantom.

Recommended Bets:
Lay Not Til Monday @ [3.0] Lingfield 14:35
Back Unlimited @ [5.50] Wolverhampton 15:30
Back Christmas Coming @ [5.30] Wolverhampton 17:05

The Champion Chase could prove to be one of the races of the Festival, with dual winner Master Minded set to have another crack at the one who stole his crown last year, Big Zeb. However, Timeform reckon the value lies elsewhere.......
