"With Alan King's stable emerging from the doldrums, a bold show appears on the cards for Havingotascoobydo with the drop back from 3m looking ideal."
Today's Follow The Money movers come from the meetings at Taunton, Ludlow and Southwell.
We start at Taunton in their opening novice hurdle race at 14:20 where market leader Romulus Dartaix has shortened in to [2.24] from an early [3.1]. Trained by Alan King, this one improved on his bumper form when narrowly beaten on hurdles debut by a more experienced rival with solid form at Warwick last time out. Robert Thornton again takes the ride and a repeat of that form should be good enough today in what looks a similar contest.
Our next mover is at Ludlow where Havingotascoobydo has been backed in to [3.65] from [4.7] in the 15:30 contest. This six-year-old gelding makes his handicap debut today from what looks like a fair mark following a couple of promising efforts in maiden and novice hurdles. With his stable emerging from the doldrums, a bold show appears on the cards with the drop back from three miles looking ideal.
We go to Southwell for our final mover and a negative in the 16:10 handicap where Cobo Bay has drifted out from [2.72] to [3.7]. Prolific in claiming company in recent times Cobo Bay has struggled in handicap company to get his head in front despite running respectively. With what looks a harsh rise of two pounds in the weights today it is easy to see why backers are not falling over themselves to back him despite the weak nature of todays contest.
