Will you follow Fadhaa to Wolves?
"In a poor quality race with the money suggesting he’s ready to run, Fadhaa should take all the beating."
Today's movers come from Folkestone and Wolverhampton...
At Folkestone, in the 14:30 Selling Stakes, Magical Star has been easy to back, drifting from [3.05] out to [4.1]. In what is a quite appalling race Mark Rimmer's three-year-old looks to hold a fair chance on ratings, getting 11lbs off the favourite and with blinkers tried over the minimum trip. However he has only managed to finish in the first three once in 11 starts and it seems very hard to build a case for him if the favourite runs to any sort of form.
In the 15:30 handicap, Not Til Monday has been well supported from [5.6] down to [4.6]. John Jenkins has booked the services of Kieren Fallon for his five-year-old who is fresh from a spell over jumps. He has looked in good heart, having picked up some pleasing wins over hurdles and towards the end of the last flat season looked to be threatening to win. The trip is a slight doubt but it looks as if they won't be going quick and the former champion jockey can use all his guile to get his head in front.
We go to Wolverhampton now where, in the 16:20 maiden stakes, Fadhaa has been steadily supported for Barry Hills. This nephew of Sakhee has been backed from [2.92] into [2.3] as he makes his seasonal debut. He shaped up well first time up last season as a two-year-old where he travelled well and was not knocked about in the finish, as is often the way with Hamdan Al Maktoum owned horses on debut. That experience shouldn't be lost on him and in a poor quality race with the money suggesting he's ready to run he should take all the beating.
