Cameron White is in for Deccan

Cameron White is in for Deccan

"In the three matches in Hyderabad so far, the highest scores have been 71, 75 and 67. With Tendulkar in town it could be worth going over 68.5 runs at about 1.80"

Ed Hawkins has the best bets for the contest in Hyderabad on Sunday where Sachin Tendulkar could again star with the bat

Deccan
The Chargers have begun to find some form with two wins from their last three. They beat Delhi last time out and it was notable that Cameron White, who had been missing from the early campaign made an impact. Spinners Pragyan Ojha and Amit Mishra also found their rhythm, both taking a wicket and keeping things tight.

Mumbai
Like last year, Mumbai are proving to be the best side in the group stages. Their victory over Chennai last time out was important because they did it despite Sachin Tendulkar failing with the bat. Harbhajan Singh, with five wickets in that game, is the man to watch.

Match odds
Punters may well have backed Deccan for outright glory on the basis of Ojha and Mishra, two of the top wicket-takers in IPL. So they will be relieved to see them finding form. Certainly Deccan are a back-to-lay option at [2.48]. Mumbai are skinny at [1.62].

Highest individual score
In the three matches in Hyderabad so far, the highest scores have been 71, 75 and 67. With Tendulkar in town it could be worth going over 68.5 runs at about [1.80].

Innings runs
Likewise we should be confident of the side batting first notching 160 or more. You should be able to get on at around [1.80]. The three first-innings scores read 165, 175 and 137.

Best bet: more than 160 runs in first innings @ [1.80]

Ed Hawkins analyses Sunday's clash between two sides at different ends of the form spectrum...

Somehow Delhi start this match as favourites despite languishing at the bottom of the table after three defeats from four matches but that just makes the price on Punjab all the more tempting for Frank Gregan...

There's a mouth watering clash in prospect between two of the IPL's big guns as last year's finalists Mumbai and Chennai lock horns again.
