As Murdoch goes to the Commons, an appropriately named horse runs at Musselburgh
"The Alan Swinbank stable has really come into form of late and Law To Himself could continue this run."
Today's movers come from the meetings at Musselburgh and Yarmouth.
We start at Yarmouth for what is now a four horse race. In the 14:15 six furlong maiden stakes for two year-olds, Levi Draper has shown some nice support into [6.60] from [18.00]. James Fanshawe's colt is closely related to Lowther winner Soar, and the smart Feet So Fast, so he can be expected to improve on his debut run. He was slowly away that day which did not help his cause but an improved performance is expected, judging by market support.
The Alan Swinbank stable has really come into form of late and Law To Himself could continue this run in 14:30 at Musselburgh. He's now trading at [3.65] from [6.80]. He seems versatile regarding trip and ground and is on a fair mark for today's race with only five horses remaining in opposition after a couple of notable withdrawals.
We stay at Musselburgh for the day's negative and Courtesy Call is now trading at [4.50] from [2.38] in the seven furlong maiden stakes at 15:00. The alarming drift is possibly due to the fact that Mark Johnston's two-year-olds generally need their first run. There has also been some good support for rival's Rosie's Lady and Daddy Warbucks. The lack of support would also suggest that the stable are not overly confident for this well bred colt on his debut.
