FTM are betting on two at Wolves (above) this afternoon
"Catalyze has been supported in to [7.0] from [10.37]."
Welcome to follow the money for Monday February 27. Today's movers are from the cards at Plumpton and Wolverhampton.
At Wolverhampton in the 14:30 5f handicap, Catalyze has been supported in to [7.0] from [10.37]. The four-year-old gelding carries a low weight, though in a sprint this is not too significant. However, he has drawn stall one and this is usually a plus as low draws are usually favoured over 5f at Wolverhampton. His racing style may also help as in previous races he likes to lead, and front runners do significantly better over 5f at Wolverhampton. He may prefer this shorter distance as when he has ridden over 6f he doesn't appear to quite have had the stamina to last the distance.
Staying at Wolverhampton in the 15:30 Maiden Stakes over 6f, Derivatives has drifted out to [2.52] from [1.92]. She has hitherto been proved difficult to win with losing at Lingfield as an even money favourite, and at Southwell as a very short odds on favourite 1/8 fav, and 4/11 fav respectively. In theory she should go very close as she has the best form but with her record of losing at short prices, she may again find at least one too good again today.
Finally, at Plumpton in the 16:15 On Khee has been heavily supported in to [2.28] from [5.50]. The five-year-old mare fell last time out at Taunton in a Mares novice hurdle, and had a good lead before falling. She was ridden over 2m three-and-a-half furlongs that day so the drop back to 2m should suit as it alleviates stamina doubts and being trained by top trainer David Pipe goes some way to explain the price move today.
