Today's negative runs at Huntingdon (above)

Welcome to Follow The Money, where today's selections can be found at Huntingdon, Lingfield and Southwell.
Over the jumps at Lingfield, in the 2m½ f Maiden Hurdle at 13:50 there has been solid support for Diamond Life who has shortened in to [2.18] from [2.78]. He made his first appearance in a bumper in December, finishing a fair third, then he followed that with a good second in a decent novices hurdle at Ascot last month. He travelled well that day and he may have found the trip stretching him. The drop back in trip should help and with the majority of his rivals having something to prove he sets the standard and should go close to breaking his duck.
Next we go to Huntingdon and, in the 2m4f Listed Hurdle at 15:30, we find the day's negative in the shape of All The Aces who has eased out to [2.2] from an early [1.77]. He was fair performer on the flat and has taken well to hurdles, finishing in the frame on all three starts, including a victory in the second of those. He put up another solid effort at Newbury last week finishing third behind two promising types but today's race may come quick enough for him and he would not want the ground to dry out too much either. There is also another couple of promising types in opposition and he may find one or both of those get the better of him today.
Our final selection comes on the all-weather at Southwell where, in the 1m Handicap at 16:10, there has been a fair move for Greyfriarschorista who has been backed in to [5.5] from [10.0]. He was a fair sort for Mark Johnston running up to listed level and he started off in grand form or his current trainer, winning his first 2 starts including 1 over course and distance. He has had excuses for his last 2 efforts breaking a blood vessel in one and hampered last time out in a much better race than todays. This looks fairly open and if returning to the form of 3 starts ago he should be thereabouts at the finish.
