Can any of our FTM backs get their heads in front today?
"Outrageous Request is now trading at [2.0] from [2.43] for what is now a four runner race. His second place finish last time out is very solid as the victor, fourth and fifth are all subsequent winners."
Today's movers come from the meetings at Hereford and Warwick.
We start with the 14:30 Novice Hurdle over two miles and a furlong at Hereford. Philip Hobb's Outrageous Request is now trading at [2.0] from [2.43] for what is now a four runner race. His second place finish last time out is very solid as the victor, fourth and fifth are all subsequent winners. The six pounds he receives from market rival Rowlestone Lad is another positive.
We move on to the 16:05 Handicap Hurdle over three miles and a furlong at Warwick and Ripoff has shown some nice support into [9.0] from [20.0]. He has shown some ability in his three novice hurdles and on what looks a feasible mark for his handicap debut; the market support looks very interesting.
Finally we go back to Hereford for the 16:15 Handicap Hurdle over two miles and a furlong for today's negative. Dai Burchell's Acapulco Bay is now trading at [3.55] from [2.5]. He was a winner last time out over course and distance but will find this race a lot tougher with a nine pound rise in the weights. The market is also showing plenty of support for a number of his rivals including Take Of Shocs who should relish the better conditions.
