"Returning from a 172 day lay-off the market confidence speaks volumes for Mizyen's chances and the step up in trip should suit."

Today's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Kempton and Wolverhampton.
We go first to Wolverhampton for the 15:00 1m Handicap where selection Mizyen has come in for steady support today. Backed from 5.39/2 in to 3.211/5 the selection is strongly fancied to get off the mark on his all weather debut. Returning from a 172 day lay-off the market confidence speaks volumes and the step up in trip should suit. Market rival Darkest Night has been steadily going up in the weights after recent consistent performances with two wins and three places in his last five starts. However, Darkest Night hung badly inside the final furlong over C&D 17 days ago and was a soundly beaten second. A similar performance should allow our selection to dominate proceedings.
Over to Kempton and the 15:20 over 1m2f where today's negative is market leader Flamborough Breeze out to 4.57/2 from 2.89/5. Always tactically held up, a slow pace today would hamper his chances and the selection has yet to score over 1m2f in three attempts with 1m being his optimum trip. In a competitive race others make more appeal and were happening to take on the selection.
Next up is the 18:00 Handicap at Wolverhampton also over 1m. Selection Mayan Flight has seen significant support with the price plunging from 10.71n/a to the current available odds 5.69/2. Following a disappointing start to 2013, placing last of 12 in January and 10th at Kempton in Febuary, this month's fifth place at Wolverhampton was much more encouraging. Having been held up by Gary Philips the selection was making headway over two furlongs out but was unable to get a clear run from around a furlong out.
