Can King Ozzy lead them home at Towcester?

Can King Ozzy lead them home at Towcester?

"At Towcester, it is worth taking a chance that a break will have freshened up King Ozzy, who carries topweight in the 15:40."

David Cleary makes a pair of selections from today's racing - one in Ireland and the other in England

There are three meetings in the UK this afternoon but the feature event is in Ireland, with the first day of the Irish Grand National meeting at Fairyhouse.

Flemenstar is the star attraction, favourite for the Powers Gold Cup at 16:30 but there are better bets earlier on the card, with the graded mares novice hurdle at 14:25 making special appeal. The favourite Ceol Rua has solid claims but is up in grade and looks worth taking on with Dressedtothenines.

Dressedtothenines made a good start over hurdles but was undone by the steady pace when a warm favourite last time. That shouldn't be a problem here and she is sure to benefit from the step up in trip this afternoon.

At Towcester, it is worth taking a chance that a break will have freshened up King Ozzy, who carries topweight in the 15:40. The form of his win at Bangor on his debut for Lawney Hill last spring worked out well and he's back to a mark just 4 lb higher here. There are excuses for most of his runs since and the stable has had a couple of winners recently after a quiet spell.

Recommended Bets
Back Dressedtothenines @ [6.6] in the 14.25 at Fairyhouse
Back King Ozzy @ [8.0] in the 15.40 at Towcester
