Today's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Sandown, Hexham and York...
We start in the 14:20 at Sandown, where Takeitfromalady has been steadily backed from 3.482/1 in to 3.152/1. Ralph Beckett's runner has been showing consistent form this season, winning on reappearance Windsor, then following up with two solid runs in defeat. With both his wins coming on today's soft ground, there's no reason why he shouldn't go close if holding his form.
Next we head to Hexham for the 14:25 where Three White Sox has been backed from 5.04/1 in to 3.052/1. Brian Ellison's runner makes his hurdling debut today after showing some decent form on the flat. He only found one too good last start, and with the winner of that race saluting again on Thursday, the form looks solid. Any repeat of that effort should be enough to be right in the finish of this weak looking contest today.
Finally we head to York for the 15:45 where Dance And Dance has been on the drift, going from 2.31/1 out to 2.751/1. He was a solid performer last year and showed a return to form last start at Epsom when second. A repeat of that effort would put him in with a big chance here, but he is a hold up horse, and with the race reduced to just three runners he most likely won't get his preferred fast pace. He's also never run on soft ground, so with those doubts in mind, it looks like punters are avoiding him today.
